The travel package with a route „New Europe“ is oriented towards adult organized tourists with an emphasis on historical places, museums, monasteries, wineries, places to walk and local cultural heritage.

Target group
The package is aimed at Bulgarian, Romanian and foreign guests – adult organized tourists with an interest towards cultural heritage.

Terms of conduction
The package is directed towards an organized group with an interest towards cultural heritage – material and non-material. No special skills are required of the participants.
Attractions along the Danube River, visits to museums and discussions on historical topics are subject to prior arrangement – six of the thematic proposals have a paid entry, while four others are with free entry. Given the seasonal nature of the events from the cultural calendar, the package is limited to April - November.

Visiting time – 50 min. Ethnographic exposition, which includes folk art crafts and artifacts from the 19th-20th centuries
Maglavit Monastery
Holy place for miracles and worshipers, healing water. Vidin – Maglavit monastery – 28 km. Visiting time – 1 hour
Zoo
Visiting time – 1 hour, without a day off.

Vidin
Museum Konaka.

Working hours – 08.30 AM – 05.00 PM, without a day off, tel. 00359 94 601 710. Historic and archeological evidence of life in Vidin are shown in a building from the 18th century.
Krastata Kazarma
Working hours – 09.30 AM – 05.30 PM, without a day off. The barracks was built in 1801, and today it’s part of the expositions of the Regional Museum. You can see the theme of Danube fishing, as well as that of the European influence in the bourgeois homes.
Fortress „Baba Vida“

Stepping on the foundations of the Roman fortress Bononia, the fortress preserves parts from the X century and has developed in time until the eighteenth century. Stone bastions and towers have been altered in connection with the emergence of firearms.
Archaeological museum

The park contains many architectural monuments. Visiting time – 1 hour.
Turkish post 
The only post office building in Bulgaria preserved since 1859. Today, the Art Center to the Regional Library operates in the building.
Mosque with a library „Osman Pazvantoglu“
A cultural monument of national importance, ХVIII century. According to legends, the mosque is in memory of the ruler's impossible love with a Christian girl.
Synagogue
Built in 1894, second biggest in the country. The imposing facade is a reminder of the former grandeur of the temple, which is in ruins today, but it’s an important element of the urban history.
Stambul Kapia gate
XVII century, part of the city gate - Kaleto. The path to Istanbul passed through it.
„Bozhuritsa“, recreation area, outdoor games, fishing, 20 km. south of Vidin.
