Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRCCI) is a business association founded in 2003 with the main objective to support the socio-economic development of Romania and Bulgaria and the cooperation among local businesses and partners from EU.

Since then the Chamber is providing various information and consultancy services to the neighbouring regions and the economic communities of both countries in order to raise their competitiveness and help them build capacity to grow and expand. One of the objectives of BRCCI is to support the economic agents and the public authorities in both Bulgaria and Romania to foster cooperation and exchange of experience on topics of common interest. Key issues are competitiveness, innovation, energy efficiency and RES, transport, tourism, environment, employment. To this view the Chamber initiates joint actions and delivers international projects aiming at sharing of experience and good practices.

Furthermore, BRCCI initiates seminars, thematic workshops and discussion forums on such areas in order to build on existing capacities, disseminate knowledge and good practices, impose recommendations to improve regulations affecting the businesses in both countries.

NGO ‘Paralel-Silistra’

“Paralel Silistra” is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, which encourages civil society development and life-long learning. Since 2004 Parallel-Silistra has been working for community development, international cooperation and sustainability.

Main goals:

1.Enforcement of European values in civil society;

2.Granting chances for young people and supporting their personal development;

3.Stimulation of free exchange of ideas, information and knowledge on intercultural values

4. Teaching about and encouraging sustainable development

Target groups: young people, adults, local and international NGOs

Ruse Regional Museum of History

The Rousse Regional Museum of History conducts its cultural activities on the territory of the District of Ruse. It is established on January 1st 1904, as a museum collection at the Boys’ High School. The museum fund contains over 150 000 pieces of cultural valuables. The museum develops its activity in relation to the preservation and exhibition of the movable cultural valuables, the tangible and intangible cultural heritage and research of the history and nature of North-eastern Bulgaria.
