Stories about rural tourism near Ruse

20.05.2020

The pandemic has closed many roads, especially to noisy, crowded resorts and cities. Instead, it opened the eyes of those curious about the unknown tourist opportunities in Bulgaria.

Some of them are located in the rural areas around Ruse, related to the natural and historical heritage, the Danube fisheries and agriculture. The website of the project "Maintenance of sustainable rural tourism in Giurgiu-Ruse region through its cultural heritage" with Bulgarian partner Business Centre for Support of Small and Medium Enterprises www.rtdgiurgiuruse.eu tells about them.

Ten impressions of Asya Pencheva in the Articles BG section help the modern tourist discover the unexpected faces of the natural beauty and historical heritage in Pepelina, Karan Varbovka and many other villages. The story is harmoniously complemented by impressive videos that show how short-term tourism ideas can bring back memories for a lifetime.
